E Scooters

Good afternoon,

I just wanted to make everyone aware on CLEVELAND's position in relation to E scooters/ electric bikes. Please can everyone be aware that these scooters are NOT road legal. Please be aware that these scooters are not permitted to drive on a public highway (road) without insurance, TAX, MOT ETC. These are treated as the same as a motor vehicle.

In short if these Scooters are privately owned and are being driven they are liable to be seized and then the person (s) being reported for the relevant traffic offences
